Policies - Westcliffe inn

1. Office/After Hours:  Our office is open from 10:00am to 8:00pm daily.  Please call (719) 783-9275.  For any issues After Hours, including late arrival reservations, please call (719) 649-6335.

2. Keys: Room key(s) can be left in the room at the time of your departure; or can be placed in the Key-Drop located to the left of the reception door; or may be personally returned to the front desk clerk.  If key(s) are not returned or are damaged, a $15.00 fee per key shall be charged to the credit card holder on file.

3. Room / Door Locks:  Room doors automatically lock when the door is closed.  Please remember to ALWAYS take your room key(s) with you when you leave your room.

4. Check-In:  Check-In time for incoming guests is between the hours of 3:00pm and 8:00pm.  If guests anticipate arrival after 8:00pm, please contact the Front Desk at (719) 783-9275 to arrange a late Check-In.  For After Hours reservations, please call (719) 649-6335.

5. Check-Out: Check-Out time on your departure date is scheduled at or before 11:00am.  Should you need to check out later than 11:00am, please let our front desk clerk know as soon as possible so arrangements can be made for incoming guests.  A fee of $20.00 per hour shall be imposed for every hour after 11:00am. 

6. Accident / Injuries: Officers and agents of Westcliffe Inn shall not be responsible for accidents or injuries to guests or anyone else in their party for any reason.  This includes pets.

7. Valuables: Officers and agents of Westcliffe Inn shall not be responsible for any loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.  If you leave the room for any reason, we encourage you to take your valuables with you.

8. Damage / Additional Cleaning: Any and all damage to the rooms or the facility by yourself or anyone staying with you shall be the responsibility of the person making the reservation.  Additional cleaning that is out of the range of “normal” shall be subject to additional fees.  The credit card on file shall be charged for any damage/ additional cleaning.

9. Cooking: Cooking of any food, other than Microwave approved meals and dishes are not allowed for any reason.  Slow-cookers, hot-plates, electric or gas skillets, or grills are strictly prohibited.

10. Non-Smoking Facility: Westcliffe Inn is 100% Smoke Free.  Smoking of any kind, including tobacco, recreational or medical marijuana, or cigars is strictly prohibited.  In addition, open flames of any kind, including candles or the burning of incense in any guest room is also prohibited.    A minimum charge of $250.00 shall be enforced and charged for smoking or having smoking product in any guest room(s).

11. A 10% non- refundable room deposit is required at booking.  Should the need to cancel the reservation for any reason occur, this charge shall not be refunded and will apply as an Administrative Fee.   To cancel a reservation and not be charged the remaining 90%, you must notify us of your cancellation by 2:00 pm, one day prior to your scheduled arrival.  Late Cancellations (after 2pm the day before your reservation) or No-Shows will be charged a minimum of one night stay and the remainder of your reservation shall be cancelled.

12. Pet Policy: Dogs are the only type of animal we accept as guests.  Our four-legged guests are only allowed in designated “pet” rooms.  Pet rooms incur an additional cleaning fee of $20.00 per room.  Undisclosed or any pet other than a dog, staying in a guest room shall incur an additional $150.00 cleaning fee.  Please do not leave your dog unattended in your room or in your vehicle at any time for the duration of your stay.  Additional charges for damages or cleaning from pets may be assessed on an individual basis.
